Board and Committee Openings
The Band Parent Organization needs YOU. As a group, we provide crucial financial assistance and support services to benefit all of the bands at Memorial High School. We have a fifteen-member board, as well as other committee chairs. Please, consider taking on a role!
The following is a preliminary list of board positions and committee chair openings for the 2021-22 school year. Many of these positions are ongoing, so there is information provided make a smooth transition. All of them receive support from the other board members, volunteers, and band directors. And, we use Sign Up Genius to recruit volunteers, so no phone calling is necessary!
Coordinates ushers for each concert. Ushers pass out programs and pass the hat (Indoor Marching Concert) or collect pink sheets (February concert) as needed.
POPS Concert Co-Chair
Works with other co-chairs to coordinate the serving of pie and beverages at the last big concert of the year. The POPS Concert is held in early May and is a celebration of the year with all bands at Memorial. This concert is an opportunity to recognize and say farewell to our great seniors.
